Do I need to live in central Aix?
No. Aparté works by living area. Whether you live in the centre, Jas de Bouffan, Luynes, Puyricard or a Pays d’Aix town such as Venelles, Éguilles or Gardanne, the app looks for compatible people within a reasonable distance and chooses a venue that is easy to reach for each of you.
Can we chat before the date?
No, and that is the whole spirit of Aparté. Before the meeting, you only answer five questions picked from a set bank, without exchanging contact details. After the date, each of you says privately whether you would like to meet again. The chat opens only if the answer is yes on both sides.
Could I be matched with someone from Marseille?
Aparté favours proximity: the date venue must stay roughly twenty minutes or less from each of you. Depending on your area, for example in the south of the Pays d’Aix, a compatible person may live a little further away, but the app never asks you to make an unreasonable journey.
