Aparté takes the method of a matchmaking agency and makes it simple: you answer once, thoughtfully, and we take care of the rest.

Step 01

A matchmaker’s questionnaire

Values, life plans, pace, the way you love: around a hundred questions, designed like an interview at a matchmaking agency. You also tell us what you’re open to in someone else, and what truly matters to you.

Around a hundred questions across eight chapters: values, life plans, life as a couple, personality, lifestyle, interests.
For each question: your answer, the answers you would accept from the other person, and how much it matters to you.
Up to five deal-breakers. Your progress is saved automatically, so you can pick up where you left off.
At the end, a relationship portrait: what we have understood about you and what you are looking for.

Step 02

One person, chosen for you

Every week, the algorithm forms the best pairs across the whole city. You receive one match, just one, with a compatibility score and three concrete reasons.

The score is calculated both ways: you suit the other person as much as they suit you.
You have 72 hours to accept or pass. Nobody knows who declined.

Step 03

Your date is already arranged

No endless back-and-forth. Three venues to rank, a theme, a few time slots: you each choose on your own, and the app picks the first slot you share and the venue that suits you both best.

Step 04

Five questions to break the ice

Before you meet, you each ask five questions chosen from a curated set. No free text, no contact details: just enough to make you want to meet.

You each choose five questions from a curated set (light-hearted, life, values, the date itself).
You see the answers to your questions once you have answered theirs.
A filter blocks phone numbers, links and social media: meeting in person remains your first real exchange.

Step 05

The conversation opens afterwards, on a mutual yes

After the date, you each say privately whether you’d like to see the other person again. Messaging only opens if you both say yes. Nobody ever knows who said no.

On the day: arrival check-in, a way to recognise each other shared one hour before, an alert button and someone close to you informed if you wish.
Afterwards: private feedback (the moment, the chemistry, whether they looked like their photos) that refines your next matches.
On a mutual yes, messaging opens. You can even ask the app to arrange a second date.
